As a counselor for over 30 years, experience and training in many different disciplines of mental health have deepened my belief in a person’s capacity for taking charge of life and living it intentionally and powerfully.
As an adoption social worker, writing adoption home studies for 20 years, I have grown to really understand the critical need for every person touched by an unplanned pregnancy, including both birth mother and birth father, birth grandparents, adopting parents, and child, to understand the impact each has on all the others. I blend the experiences to create a healthier understanding and respect for the roles each will always have in the child’s life.
As a coach, my own extensive and varied life and work experiences, with the many transitions, losses, and challenges I faced as a single mom, caregiver, therapist, adoption counselor, handwriting analyst, health and nutrition consultant, and small business owner, combined with in depth training as a coach, now support my commitment and passion to help you find your way UP, a way that is right for you.

I am a Native Texan, sharing my home with a couple of miss-matched, but loving and protective dogs. My very favorite (and only) son lives in Denver but happily spends his days flying commercial jets, his life-long passion.
